The marriage of Astoria and Draco took place in the 2000s. Their marriage occurred after the second wizarding war. Astoria was the younger sister of Daphne Greengrass, and Draco was the class fellow of Daphne. Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, parents of Draco Malfoy, disapproved of Draco’s choice to take her as a wife. They were very disappointed in the choice of their son. However, Draco Malfoy married Astoria Greengrass because he was in love with her.
How Did They Meet?
It has not been mentioned in the play when and how Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass met. But it is assumed that they met during some Slytherin meeting. Astoria was anti-blood purity, and she knew since childhood that she is not going to live longer than others.

The major reason behind marriage is that it is an act of rebellion against marrying Astoria. It is because Astoria was an antibody purity, and she was also opposed to everything about which Voldemort had ever stood for.

Draco Malfoy was scared of the Malfoy Manor because it had some very bad memories for him. Whenever he enters the Malfoy Manor, he sees the life of Muggle Studies teacher Charity Burbage being taken by Lord Voldemort on the table. And Nagini feeds her corpse.
He was so scared of Malfoy Manor, but still, he lived there with his wife Astoria Greengrass and his son Scorpius. It is because he had no place to live after Hogwarts. Malfoy raised his son in that Manor.
Location Of Malfoy Manor
Malfoy Manor is in England. This house belonged to a Malfoy family of pure blood. It was used by Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters as its base of operations. It was used during the second wizarding war. Voldemort became the source of discomfort for Narcissa, Lucius, and Malfoy.
The Malfoy Manor had three floors, six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a large reception hall, dining room, large kitchen, library, drawing room, study, etc. It was amazingly built. It was attractive enough to catch the eye of anyone.
The Malfoy Manor was located in Hardwick Hall. It is a place that is easily reachable. So, the fans of Harry Potter can visit this place whenever they want. It is because this place is not too far or so difficult to visit. Moreover, it is not a confidential place that cannot be visited by unauthorized people.
Sacred Twenty-Eight
The group of twenty-eight families whose blood was completely pure blood is known as sacred twenty-eight. Most people in the magic community thought that the sacred twenty-eight would die if no one married the Muggles and continued the marrying process from the same bloodline. It meant a great deal for the people belonging to solely pure blood such as the sacred twenty-eight families and Lord Voldemort.
When Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass got married, the Malfoys became part of the sacred twenty-eight as Astoria Greengrass was from the remaining members of the sacred twenty-eight. Due to this, they became more tolerant after the second wizarding war.
For Draco, the association with the sacred twenty-eight meant very little; he did not care much about them. But for Astoria, it was important because it was the remnant of the type of people she was, not the remnant of the type of people she had become.
Raising Their Child
Astoria knew she would die early as she was not destined to old age because of the blood-born curse given by her ancestors. Before dying, Astoria gave birth to a child because she did not want Draco to be alone after her death.

The name of the son of Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass was Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. After the birth of Scorpius, Astoria refused to teach that the pureblood Muggles are scum.
Astoria saw her son Scorpius off in 2017 at King’s Cross Station to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She gave him a lot of sweets because she always told him that sweets always help you in making friends.
Good Care of Astoria
Astoria Greengrass was a pure-blood witch. She was one of the sacred twenty-eight. Astoria’s bloodline was cursed by ancestors of blood malediction to die early and not get too old. After traveling for many generations, the curse remains permanent, and the time came when it affected Astoria. After some time, because of the curse, her body became so weak. After giving birth to her son Scorpius, her health started decreasing more than before.
At this hard time, Draco did his best in taking care of his wife Astoria. He made sure that he takes full care of her and provides her with anything she needs at this time. Because of all the care given by Draco to Astoria, she barely survived to see her son going to Hogwarts for his first year.
Astoria’s Death
In summer, before the starting of the third year of Scorpius at Hogwarts. As we know, Astoria belonged to the sacred twenty-eight and was cursed by her ancestor. The curse was that her bloodline will not live for long; they will die early without getting too old. Because of that curse, she died. Her death was a big shock for Draco and his son Scorpius.
Later, Draco inherited a Time-Turner from his father. After some time, Draco missed Astoria so much that he really wanted to go back in time using the Time-Turner just to see Astoria. But he resisted himself because he knew the damage he would cause to reality.
Conclusion
Draco was once with Voldemort because of his parents. But when he came into senses all he wanted was to get away from Voldemort. He wanted to get away from evil and wanted to raise his child in a good environment. So, he married Astoria because of an Anti-blood purity and opposed everything which Voldemort had stood for. She was a nice girl and had every quality which Draco wanted.
